Guided tours

Neuschwanstein Castle can only be visited within a guided tour. We offer guided tours in German and English by our own personnel.

Visitors who do not speak one of these languages can make use of our audio guide tours, which are available in Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Slovenian, Russian, Polish, Chinese (Mandarin), Portuguese and Hungarian.

Both kinds of tours last approximately 30 minutes.

You can book the ticket for your guided tour in advance (one day before the desired castle visit at the latest) at the Ticketcenter Hohenschwangau.

 

 

Special tours

Special tours can be organized for private groups, but only outside normal opening hours.

Please apply in writing if you are interested in this service. The tours are in German or English; if other languages are required, we would ask you to bring your own interpreter.

The tours last approximately one hour.

On public holidays we regret that we cannot organize any special tours.

Costs: For a group of up to six persons, a flat rate of €150 will be charged. From seven persons the fee is €25 per head. We regret that we cannot give any concessions. The fee must be paid in cash.
